Nov 21, 2013 My box is 24" wide and runs rough top conveyor belt at 20gpm per foot of sluice width. I find best recovery is between 1/2 and 5/8th of an inch per foot. I see gold migrating a lot at 3/4 and I loose a fair bit at 1" per foot. This is on material screened to 6 mesh in my grizzly.
